Door Panel Assembly
Category:
Product Details
The car door panel assembly inspection fixture is a specialized measuring tool designed to verify the dimensional accuracy, geometric tolerances, and assembly fit of automotive door panel assemblies—including both inner and outer panels, door frames, mounting holes, and more. Its primary function is to ensure that components meet design specifications, preventing issues such as installation difficulties or compromised vehicle performance caused by dimensional deviations.
Core Features
Dimensional Accuracy Inspection: Verify that the critical dimensions of the door panel assembly—such as outer panel contour dimensions, inner panel mounting hole diameters/center-to-center distances, and window/door frame heights—meet the requirements specified in the design drawings (typically with tolerances of ±0.1 to 0.5 mm). For example, check the spacing between the inner door panel and the mounting holes for the door lock to ensure proper alignment and prevent issues during installation.
Geometric Tolerance Inspection: Checks the flatness, perpendicularity, profile accuracy, and other parameters of the panel (e.g., the flatness of the outer panel surface must be ≤0.3 mm/m) to prevent uneven gaps between the door and the car body, as well as air or water leaks, after the door is installed.
Assembly Fitment Testing: Simulating real-vehicle assembly scenarios to verify the compatibility between panels and surrounding components (such as window glass, seals, and door hinges)—for example, checking the clearance between the door frame and the window regulator—to ensure smooth window operation.
